Leo Handler (Mark Wahlberg) is returning from jail to the Queens’ Rail Yards, a place where the cities subway cars are repaired. Leo’s return is marked by a warm welcome from his family and his friend, Willie. Competition for the city’s contracts is fierce and often dirty. And, Leo’s family is right in the middle of it. His Uncle Frank (James Caan) is desperate to maintain his dominance by intimidation and dirty tactics. Leo soon joins in. But, something goes wrong, and Leo finds himself on the wrong side of the law, running to stay out of jail. Can he still trust his Aunt Kitty (Faye Dunaway), his cousin (Charlize Theron), even his ailing mother (Ellen Burstyn)? Where do his loyalties lie? And, who will believe the truth?
